JIMTOF has launched a YouTube channel “JIMTOF INSIGHTS” (https://www.youtube.com/@JIMTOF-INSIGHTS), which covers a wide range of topics related to the machine tool industry and other manufacturing-related topics. In addition to attracting visitors to JIMTOF, JIMTOF INSIGHTS aims to raise awareness of JIMTOF among students, who will lead the next generation of the manufacturing industry. During JIMTOF 2024, a project linked to the video content will be held on the multi-purpose stage in the newly opened Academic Area in South Hall 4.

JIMTOF 2024 (The 32nd Japan International Machine Tool Fair), one of the largest machine tool exhibitions in the world, organised by the Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association and Tokyo Big Sight Inc., will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for six days from 5 to 10 November 2024. JIMTOF 2024 will be held at the entire Tokyo Big Sight, with a total exhibition area of 118 540m².

Pre-registration for admission began on 2 September 2024.

At this year’s JIMTOF 2024, a new “Academic Area” will be opened in South Hall 4 for a wide range of students, regardless of whether they are arts or science. It will provide an opportunity for direct communication between students interested in the manufacturing industry and exhibitors. In addition, a special parallel exhibition, “Additive Manufacturing Area in JIMTOF 2024,” will be held on the 1st floor of the South Exhibition Hall.
