Retecon was established in 1970 by Burkhard Herrmann supplying equipment to the South African manufacturing industry. The name Retecon is an abbreviation of REliable TEchnical CONsultants.

Service
Retecon Service has been providing skilled, motivated and dedicated technicians for over 40 years in the manufacturing sector. The company’s technicians are sent to the machine builders for training to ensure that their skills are the best that it can provide.

The services offered by Retecon are installation, servicing, repairs, importation of spare parts and consumables, programming, training, machine moves, time studies, after hours support, project implementation and a portable coordinate measuring arm calibration service.

The Group’s BEE partnership is with Fumanang Enterprises where young entrepreneurs get skills training in every aspect of a running company, technically as well as commercially.
