For the past 10 years Hurco Europe Ltd have been successfully representing the company Röders Tec of Germany, in the UK. There are now many Röders machines throughout the UK and Ireland, and on the back of this success Hurco South Africa have now been appointed the exclusive representative for Röders in South Africa.

The Röders Company is situated in Soltau and is the largest industrial employer in the area with 340 employees, 38 trainees and another 450 employees worldwide. The business is now 200 years and six generations old. With the development of Ultra-precision machines being a natural progression from the original business when the required machine accuracy was at the time unavailable on the market, and as a necessity developed in-house by Röders engineers. The company has grown approximately 30% during recent years, which Jürgen Röders attributes primarily to the quality of his machine tools. Further growth is planned with the completion of additional capacity by the middle of 2016.
