DN Solutions, Korea’s No. 1 machine tool company, has signed an agreement with Bucheon City on to build a high-tech R&D center in the Daejang Industrial Complex in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, Korea.

DN Solutions said, “We plan to build a high-tech R&D centre in the first urban high-tech industrial complex in Bucheon. It is to secure talent in the metropolitan area and actively respond to future demand for innovative technology development. About 240 billion won will be invested in the new R&D centre, and the goal is to move in early 2028.”

DN Solutions said, “The Bucheon Daejang Industrial Complex is an optimal location that combines industrial infrastructure and high-tech ecosystems in the metropolitan area. Gimpo Airport and the adjacent Magok district, Seoul’s international gateway, are emerging as the best large-scale R&D cluster in the metropolitan area as R&D facilities from various companies other than us gather.”

“We are working to maintain DN Solutions’ technological leadership by securing advanced technologies for artificial intelligence (AI), software, robots, automation, and autonomous manufacturing beyond traditional machine tools. We expect that if an advanced R&D centre is secured, collaboration between Seoul and nearby universities and research institutes will be easier and human resources will be attracted more actively.”

DN Solutions has established or is building a technology laboratory in Yantai, China, Bielefeld, Germany and Bengaluru, India.
