The Aluminium Federation of South Africa (AFSA) has announced the upcoming AFSA International Aluminium Conference 2026 that is scheduled to take place from the 25 to 26 February 2026 at The Maslow Hotel Sandton, Johannesburg. This flagship event will bring together global leaders, innovators, and stakeholders in the aluminium industry to explore advancements, sustainability strategies, and investment opportunities shaping the future of the sector.

Over the two dynamic days, delegates will engage in keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, and curated networking sessions, gaining insights into emerging technologies, market trends, and collaborative solutions. The conference will spotlight themes such as green smelting, advanced alloys, circular economy models, and aluminium’s role as the preferred metal of the future.

Discussions will also include topics such as the global aluminium market and trends, sustainability and environmental impact, research and development and advanced manufacturing innovation in
Production, fabrication, castings, extrusions and surface finishing.
